Above the Poconos Skydivers

Penn State students from State College, PA have been skydiving at the Northeast Pennsylvania skydiving center, the Above the Poconos Skydivers for many years. Main Campus students go skydiving for an extreme sport adventure during Senior Week, Spring Break, or anytime. With a valid college ID, Penn State students will receive a $10 discount off of their introductory tandem skydiving lesson. We’re about an hour and a half away, so get together a group of friends and come on out for a fun day of skydiving!
Here are the turn by turn directions to the Above the Poconos Skydivers Skydiving Center from Penn State University Main Campus in State College, PA:
Take Route 220 East to Interstate 80 East. Get off at Exit 256. Take Route 93 South about 5 miles. Take a left at the traffic light at Rossi’s Restaurant onto the Airport Beltway. Follow that road for about 2 miles, take a right after the sign “Hazleton Municipal Airport” onto Hess Road and go up the hill to the stop sign. Across the street is the airport parking lot. Our building is the brick one on the right side of the parking lot. Go through the bright blue door with “SKYDIVE” painted on it. If you arrive early, there are public restrooms in the terminal building on the left side of the parking lot.
