Advanced Canopy Training Class Information
Our maximum advanced canopy training class size is six
students and is limited to skydiving students who have completed the advanced tandem class and skydive. This assures you personalized attention, so reserve your spot as
early as possible. Call 1-888-654-7529 (PLAY) and leave a $39 non-refundable deposit to prepay for your spot in the class. Jumps will be paid for separately.
We give first priority to the students from the advanced canopy training class by reserving an A.M. time slot the next day for your Instructor Assisted (IAD) Jump. Plan to spend the entire day with us, until sunset if possible.
(If Sunday 9am is not possible for you to make your jumps, please let us know what alternate date and time you intend when you call to schedule your class) .
Because the advanced canopy training class is very intensive, we need you to be alert, aware, and able to concentrate, so please:
Get a good night’s sleep the night before.
BE ON TIME!
NO alcoholic beverages should
be consumed prior to class and is against all state and federal laws during skydiving activities.
Plan to stay at least three hours on the evening of your class and until sunset on the day of your jumps.
If you would like accommodations, contact us a 1-888-654-7529, we have special skydiver rates if you book your room at the Comfort Inn, Candlewood Suites, or Emily’s Bed and Breakfast through us.
Wear long pants; sneakers (no boots); hard smooth knee pads (like used for roller blading)
NO jewelry (rings are especially hazardous to your fingers on solo jumps);
If you have a pair of baseball or golf gloves bring them;
If it is cool out, bring a sweatshirt, thermals, and either a turtleneck or a neck gator (remember it is generally at least 10 degrees colder here then where you live.).
